1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how LinkedMinds (“LinkedMinds”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal data when you use the LinkedMinds website, dashboard, browser extension, APIs, MCP server and related services (the “Service”). It applies to you as a user of the Service and should be read together with our Terms & Conditions.
By using the Service you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Who is responsible for your data
LinkedMinds is the data controller for the account and usage information we collect about you as our customer. For the contact data and outreach content you upload, import or process through the Service (for example, the LinkedIn profiles you target), you act as the controller and LinkedMinds acts as a processor handling that data on your behalf and on your instructions. You are responsible for having a lawful basis to process that data.
3. Information we collect
a. Information you provide
- Account data: your name, email address and authentication identifiers (including when you sign in with Google or via email one-time code).
- Billing data: plan, subscription status and transaction references. Card and payment details are collected and stored by our third-party payment processor, not by us.
- Connected-account data: the LinkedIn session credentials and/or cookies you choose to connect, which are stored in encrypted form and used solely to operate the Service for you.
- Content and contacts: campaigns, messages, templates, notes, lead lists, and the contact records you import, search or enrich.
- Support communications: messages you send us.
b. Information collected automatically
- Usage and device data: log data, IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed and actions taken.
- Cookies and similar technologies: used for authentication, security, preferences and analytics (see Section 8).
- Security and anti-abuse signals: such as sign-up IP address and trial-usage history, used to detect and prevent fraud and trial abuse.
c. Information from third parties
When you sign in with Google, we receive basic profile information (such as your email and name) as permitted by your Google account settings. When you operate outreach, the Service processes publicly available professional profile data on the platforms you use.
d. Browser extension
Our optional browser extension only accesses data after you install it and give your consent to connect. With your consent it reads, from your browser, your LinkedIn session cookie (the li_at cookie) and your basic LinkedIn profile (name, photo, headline and profile URL). This information is transmitted securely to your LinkedMinds workspace, stored in encrypted form, and used solely to connect your account and operate the automation you configure. It is never sold. Nothing is collected until you consent, and you can withdraw consent at any time by disconnecting the account or removing the extension.
4. How we use your information
We use personal data to:
- provide, operate, maintain and secure the Service and your account;
- authenticate you and send service and security communications (including one-time login codes);
- execute the campaigns, messages and automation you configure;
- process payments, manage subscriptions, trials and renewals;
- provide customer support and respond to your requests;
- monitor, improve and develop the Service, including using aggregated and de-identified data;
- detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse, security incidents and violations of our Terms; and
- comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
5. Legal bases for processing
Where applicable law (such as the GDPR) requires a legal basis, we rely on: performance of our contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the Service and preventing abuse; your consent (which you may withdraw at any time, for example for certain cookies or marketing); and compliance with legal obligations.
6. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only as follows:
- Service providers / sub-processors who help us run the Service - including hosting and database infrastructure, cloud storage, email delivery, payment processing, AI model providers, proxy providers and analytics - under contracts that require appropriate safeguards.
- At your direction - for example, when you send outreach or connect integrations.
- Legal and safety - where required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of LinkedMinds, our users or the public.
- Business transfers - in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
7. International data transfers
We and our service providers may process and store data in countries other than your own. Where we transfer personal data internationally, we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection in accordance with applicable law, including the use of standard contractual clauses where required.
8. Cookies and tracking
We use strictly necessary cookies for authentication and security, and may use functional and analytics cookies to understand and improve the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality such as staying signed in.
9. Data retention
We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent abuse and enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it. You may request deletion as described below.
10. Security
We implement technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data, including encryption of sensitive credentials, access controls and network protections. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your credentials and API keys confidential.
11. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email support@linkedminds.in. We will respond as required by applicable law and may need to verify your identity.
12. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, please contact us so we can delete it.
13. Third-party platforms
The Service interoperates with third-party platforms such as LinkedIn. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those platforms, and your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies. LinkedMinds is not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn Corporation.
14. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
